I have some exciting news about Sunbelt Travel. Effective August 1, 2011, I will be merging with Spears Travel. You should not even notice a change. I will be keeping the Sunbelt Travel phone numbers so you will still use the 918-665-7500 or 800-878-7502 numbers to call me for your travel arrangements. I will be forwarding my email from the Sunbelt Travel email for a while, but my new email address is lscott@spearstravel.com. They will be transferring over the phone number on August 1st so if you have any problem getting a hold of me that day you can call 918-252-4060 or out of Tulsa 800-688-8034 to reach me. The only change will be a different name on the top of your invoices and I will be at an office where you can come and discuss travel plans. Through the rest of 2011 nothing will change as far as our fees. If there are any changes in fees for 2012, I will be notifying you at the end of this year.
I am very excited about working with Spears Travel, they have been in business for 53 years, and are a family owned and operated agency like Sunbelt. At this time, and in this economy, this is what I needed to do to be able to continue doing what I love, helping you with your travel arrangements. I hope you all can support this decision and continue our relationship.
For those of you who worked with Debbie Miller here at Sunbelt, Debbie had a great opportunity to go into another field. She has been the office administrator at Season's Hospice for the last six weeks. She misses working with her clients at Sunbelt but is very excited about this new direction in her life. Debbie wanted me to tell you how much she enjoyed working with you over the last 15 years. She enjoyed working in the travel industry but thought it was time to pursue another career path. I will miss working with Debbie, but know that she will be part of my life always, and I wish her the best in her new career.
